What is the Teller of Tales Festival?

The Teller of Tales Festival is a storytelling competition sponsored by the Salt Lake School District. It invites students (grades K–6) to select, memorize, and present a story to showcase their storytelling skills. One winner from each school will advance to a district competition. The top 5 students who win at the district level will be invited to perform at the Story Crossroads Storytelling Festival in Salt Lake City. The top 3 students will be invited to perform at the Weber State Storytelling Festival.

Please return the Intent to Participate Form to Miss Lofgren in the library before October 15, 2025. 

The school competition will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025. 

The district competition will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025.
